The Kindness Project assists those in crisis, hardship, and poverty within our local community with the essential necessities for survival while working with other local organizations to provide resources for those wanting to rebuild or transform their lives. What We Do: We are a group of volunteers who want to help those in need within our community so no one is cold, hungry, or feels they are alone. •We help people experiencing homelessness by providing hygiene kits, blankets, clothing, food, water, etc. •Weekly we provide a hot meal to anyone who needs it. •We support, encourage, and listen to those we serve and each other while treating all individuals with compassion & dignity. •We manage the donations received in a responsible manner and for the good of the community. If we receive a donation that we cannot use, we bless another local organization with these items. •As we grow, we are continuing to learn and find other organizations we can partner with in our community. Ways to Help: The work that we do & resources we provide for those in need are funded by donations from the community and volunteers who donate their spare time to help those that need a helping hand. Without the donations & volunteers none of the services we offer would be possible.

Products Needed For Our Mission!

Van Fund Donation
We are currently seeking donations for a van! A van is our largest goal this year! A van would provide transportation for our events! We host laundry days for homeless to wash clothes, free hair cuts, invite other nonprofits to educate the homeless about local resources! We host shower days for those who can’t get to other stations to take showers in time frames provided. We take clients to Doctor appts, court, detox, rehab all while using our own dollar. Having a dedicated van for our missions instead of having to use our personal vehicle for these things would be a huge help!
