about us

our mission

The Kindness Project assists those in crisis, hardship, and poverty within our local community with the essential necessities for survival, while working with other local organizations to provide resources for those wanting to rebuild or transform their lives.

Our vision is simple but powerful: to create a pathway out of crisis—toward secure housing, restored dignity, and long-term self-reliance.

We are so lucky to have them. They show up and make a difference for so many.

- Amber Bradford, Partners Health Management Housing Specialist

what we do

Weekly Outreach Meals
Every Sunday, we provide a hot lunch and distribute essential supplies—such as hygiene kits, clothing, and bottled water—to unsheltered individuals and anyone struggling with food insecurity.

Vital Document Assistance
We help individuals obtain crucial documents like Social Security cards, state IDs, and birth certificates—important steps toward accessing housing, healthcare, and employment opportunities.

Advocacy for Vulnerable Populations
We actively advocate for our most at-risk community members, including seniors, ensuring they are not left behind in accessing vital services and support systems.

Support Navigating Services and Recovery
We guide individuals who are ready to seek help with addiction, mental health, or applying for public aid and services.

Through direct outreach, community partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to kindness, we walk alongside individuals on their journey toward stability, healing, and hope.
